SADIE SADIE MARRIED LADY!!

January 7, 2012

I married the man of my dreams, Mr. Clinton Paul Kerr. Paul is the kindest, most patient, loving man I know. His is so good to me and calls me his queen.

The night before, my sweet and incredibly creative niece Gabby organized a "bride's night out" party for me. My mother, sister Jenny, sis-in-laws Kristine and Diane, good friend Lauren and best friend Jenna and Milly were all there. We went to dinner at The Garden in the Joseph Smith Memorial building (the same place Paul took me the night he proposed). The ladies brought me some fun gifts - lingerie and Jenny got me a beautiful clock that says "Family...where life starts and love never ends." After dinner we went to mom and dad's to play Dance Revolution 3! We had so much fun and laughed and laughed.

We woke up to a huge snow storm with about 3" of snow on the ground. Jenny called it "good luck snow". Mom, dad, Jenny, Pablo, Gabriela, Patrick, Diane, Mersades and I set up for the luncheon at the church. Then I headed home to shower and get ready. I met Gabs at mom & dad's house so she could curl my hair. I put a little make up on and we headed up to the temple (after making a stop to pick up my bouquet, hair flowers and a boutineer). Mom and I walked in and there he was dressed in his new, charcoal gray suit looking handsome as ever waiting with his dad. We checked in and went to verify records. Then we went to get dressed. My mom and my sis in law Kristine helped me get into my wedding gown in the lovely mirror filled bride room. I wept. There I was in a beautiful, white dress about to marry a worthy priesthood holder for time and all eternity. For as long as I can remember, this is what i have wanted...pretty much my whole life. This is what I had been promised years ago in my patriarchal blessing. We all shared a few tears and hugs, they went to wait and I went to meet Paul. He looked radiant in white. He loved my dress. I was so excited, yet so calm at the same time. We were given words of advice and then sealed for time and all eternity. It was the best feeling in the world! I love him so much!
