finally someone on the same page as me

today i am meeting Ryan for the first time. but Ryan and I are not strangers by any means. I answered a personal ad on 06/03/10 that Ryan posted. the heading to my answer, "wow finally someone on the same page as me". I don't even remember what he wrote in the ad that called my attention or that made me want to answer him. I am so glad I did. over the past 3 weeks Ryan and I have been sending emails getting to know each other. asking questions and answering them, sending links to favorite songs, and sharing poetry and writing we have both created, and a few photos. but not photos of our faces. we decided early on not to send face pics but to meet face-to-face with zero judgements of appearance and just see each other. we have spoken on the phone twice. once for an hour and a half (until my phone battery died) and once for 4 hours 31 minutes and 09 seconds (which felt like a half hour). one particular Friday, I answered Ryan's email from the day before and it somehow got lost in cyber land. I sent him a desperate message the following Monday asking if he still wanted to continue writing. he said he was wondering the same thing, that he had not gotten my email. I frantically sent the email saved in my "Sent box" and we continued our correspondence = ) that was crazy. my heart wanted to know if he still wanted me (in dramatic terms).

I am ecstatic and just a little nervous. I must admit, I really like him.

Ryan is know at my office as "email boy" deemed by my co-worker Jessica.

I have been praying, pleading, dare I say begging, searching, asking for "him", "the one" for a while now. from the universe, God, and the kind goddess of love, Aphrodite. it's an amazing thought that I may be looking into his eyes tonight at 7pm, in just 7.5 short hours.
